The Challenge: Consumers know Alba Botanica’s products by their family names (Hawaiian Detox, Acne Dote, etc), but are unfamiliar with Alba Botanica as a brand. We needed to define the Alba Botanica brand identity and raise brand awareness in the same category as Burt’s Bees, Yes to, and Aveeno.
The Insight: With health and beauty brands like Dove and Aerie stepping up to issues larger than just their products, women expect more than just better ingredients. But what issues could Alba Botanica align itself with that would both resonate with their audience and be a genuine fit for the brand? Qualitative research, trend analysis, and social listening lead us to five amazing female partners and their own great causes to amplify.
